Our 1 Year Guarantee covers our French handmade products. Our French Handmade products are created with attention to the finest detail by craftsmen in a small village in France that have dedicated their lives to hand crafting hair accessories since the 1600s. This includes our Iconique collection, which is handmade in France and then embellished with crystals.

Because of this, we have complete trust in every hair accessory made. Every mechanism from clasps, to laser finished smooth edges are delicately perfected. Our hair accessories are made with a strong cellulose acetate resin which is not only seamless with securing the accessory in your hair but it is also found to reduce pressure headaches when worn as a headband in comparison to other materials.

In the unlikely chance that you experience any issues with your products within the first year after purchase, we will be more than happy to send out a replacement to you according to availability, a credit voucher or an alternative item of the same value.

6-Month Guarantee

Our 6-month guarantee covers all other products including the French Essentials Collection which are injection moulded using the same strong mechanisms as the French handmade collection but with a different material.

Our Crystal, Hand Painted and À La Mode collections are all covered under this 6-month guarantee. Our Iconique pieces are the exception, as they are handmade in France and carry the 1 year guarantee.

We want to reassure our lovely customers that should you experience any issues with your products within the first 6 months after purchasing we will be more than happy to send out a replacement to you according to availability, a credit voucher or an alternative item of the same value.

What The Promise Covers

If your accessory fails in normal everyday wear within its guarantee period, you are covered. That includes springs that stop working, clasps and fastenings that break, crystals that come away, and any other fault in the way the piece was made.

What it does not cover:

• The gentle marks and softening of shine that come with years of wear
• Damage from being dropped, sat on or caught
• Damage from contact with chemicals, extreme heat, water, cosmetics or fragrance
• Accessories that have been altered or repaired elsewhere

How To Make A Claim

Please do not post anything back to us. Go to our Contact Page, fill in the form and attach a photograph of your accessory using the Attach Files button. Do add your order number if you have it to hand, although you do not need your receipt. We can find your order from the email address you used.

Once we have seen the photograph, in almost every case we will send you a replacement straight away. If the piece is no longer available, we will offer you an alternative of the same value or a credit, whichever suits you better. On the rare occasion we need the original back for a proper look, we will cover the postage.

We are not able to repair accessories or supply spare parts, so a replacement is always the route we take.

Care Guide

Please be aware that wear and tear can happen as the product ages but this can be prevented by following our care guide:

To ensure that your accessories maintain their quality throughout its life you must take care of them. Our accessories are made to last, in order to keep the reflective shine of our cellulose acetate products you must avoid contact with chemicals, extreme heat, water, cosmetic products, and fragrances. We advise that you keep your French handmade accessories in its brushed cotton dust bag when you take them out of your hair. The dust bags can also be used to lightly polish your accessories between wear.

Products from our French Essentials, Hand Painted, À La Mode and Crystal collections should also be taken care of in the same way to avoid damage. Including, keeping your accessories in a safe place between wearing.
