Fifteen years ago, Scottish designers Jane Chadwick and Jess Quinton went into business together thanks to their mutual desire to launch a luxury knitwear company using only British manufacturers and the highest quality yarns.
Now, the duo are renowned for their superior styling capabilities and uniquely British production values and their quirky accessories are loved and worn by many all around the world.
With core values in keeping traditional knitting skills alive in the UK, they are committed to using specialist factories in Scotland and Nottingham as well as a co-operative of hand-frame knitters in Cornwall. The use of these traditional techniques has helped the team develop their signature take on traditional heritage pattern and bold colour.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that both come from backgrounds in fashion and textiles - Jess worked for Italian fashion house Missoni after graduating from the RCA and Jane ran her own rtw label and forecast consultancy developing Smart yarns with the IWS and Dupont.
